Description:

The purpose of the Energy advisor is to assist with identifying, evaluating and recommending opportunities within the Energy sector by evaluating and analyzing market trends and to integrate and consolidate divisional information into reports 

Requirements:

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 6-8 years in a private equity company of which 3 -5 years must be Specialist/ supervisory Level as a Business Process Specialist 
  • Matric, Bachelor’s Degree/ BTech Degree (NQF Level 7 NQF 7 qualification in Information Technology or / Engineering 
  • Honours (NQF Level 8) or Psot graduate Diploma (NQF Level 8) as an added advantage
  • Experience with aligning process improvements with strategic and operational objectives
  • Experience with illustrating impact of process improvements on business operations


DESIRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES

  • Intermediate skills in PowerApps (PowerAutomate, PowerApps, Power BI)
  • Critical reasoning skills
  • Conceptual reasoning skills
  • Project Management skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Intermediate SQL and data visualization software skills 
  • Skilled at using software (Visio, Lucidchart, Bizagi) for process documentation or design
  • Communication skills
  • Business needs identification and analysis

 KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

 Analzying and Mapping Business Processes

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining detailed documentation of current workflows, procedures and systems 
  • Responsible for analyzing process performance and identifying bottlenecks, redundancies, inefficiencies and opportunities for automation 
  • Responsible for evaluating the alignment of current processes to meet organisational objectives.

 Designing and reengineering processes

  • Responsible for designing new process for new workstreams and obtaining approval from stakeholders
  • Responsible for improving processes and obtaining approval
  • Responsible for the development of visual aids to assist with the communication of proposed changes

 Facilitating process implementation

  • Responsible for developing a project plan for rolling out new processes and working with various departments and teams to ensure a smooth implementation or transition 
  • Provide employees with coaching and support on new processes
  • Responsible for the effective maintenance of application by coordinating the process with the relevant service providers 

Monitoring and measuring process performance

  • Responsible for establishing performance metrics and indicators to measure process effectiveness
  • Monitor and report on process performance to stakeholders

Compliance and Risk management

  • Responsible for verifying that processes comply with regulatory requirements and to maintain accurate documentation to support compliance and risk management efforts
